A view of a sunset. Taken at Tiara Lake in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

I took this picture on my trip to the state of Perak in Malaysia. I felt that it would be a near perfect shot with a person holding a fishing rod. Unfortunately, the rod wasn’t held upwards, which would’ve made this picture look a lot better. Nevertheless, I guess I’m happy with the shot.

Taken with the Olympus PEN E-PM1 with these settings: f/3.5, 1/1250s, ISO 200.

There’s some purple in this sunset. Part 2 of my golden hour series

This is a picture of a silhouette of a flat next to my house. The sunset looked kinda nice, so i just got out and took the shot.

Taken with Panasonic Lumix FZ300. Settings: f/2.8, 1/125s, ISO 100

A fresh catch! Part 1 of my Golden Hour series on Instagram

P1160077I took this picture using the Panasonic Lumix FZ300 on my trip to the state of Perak in Malaysia at some place called “Tiara Lake”. A casual fisherman just caught a fish, and coincidentally, it was already the golden hour. Hence, i thought of this name for my next series on Instagram. I realised the image was a wee bit too shadowy and i had to edit it (that’s why there is a fair amount on noise). I simply zoomed into the fish, and captured as soon as the camera caught focus (trying to make this seem dramatic).

Camera Settings: f/2.8, 1/320s, ISO 100

“Fly away” One of my simpler shots with no particular main subject (partly due to the fact that another bird flew by the frame whilst this bird was perched). Sadly, even though I was on burst mode, I couldn’t get a shot of just one bird perched on the pole. •
